As published in "Historical Wyoming", January and April 1977: "The cemetery is located directly behind the Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Bennington Center, Town of Bennington and is in excellent condition. The following inscriptions were taken Sunday, June 29, 1975 by County Historian John G. Wilson, Mary Wilson, and Anita Ripstein and further information supplied by Mrs. Josephine Almeter. Many inscriptions were written in Polish and could not be translated."

Note: A list of this cemetery compiled in 1933 can be found on the "USGenWeb Archives" Wyoming County site. The first 17 names on that list are actually burials in Fairview Cem. on Rt. 354, and the remainder contains approx. 30 names not listed below. (Thanks to Anita Ripstein Hayes for her help in clarifying this.)
